The Association of Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Eastern Herzegovina is an independent, non-profit organization established to support the long-term development of agriculture and rural communities across the Eastern Herzegovina region. Our association brings together fruit growers, vegetable producers, agricultural professionals, educators, volunteers, and community members who share a common vision of building a stronger, more sustainable agricultural future.
Agriculture has always been one of the most important pillars of our region's economy and cultural identity. We believe that supporting local farmers means supporting families, preserving traditions, strengthening food security, and protecting the environment for future generations.
Our organization serves as a platform where farmers can exchange knowledge, receive professional guidance, access educational opportunities, and participate in collaborative initiatives that improve agricultural productivity while promoting environmentally responsible farming practices.
We actively encourage innovation by introducing modern cultivation techniques, sustainable irrigation methods, integrated pest management, soil conservation, and climate-resilient agricultural solutions. At the same time, we remain committed to preserving traditional farming knowledge that has been passed down through generations.
Education plays a central role in our mission. We organize seminars, practical workshops, field demonstrations, expert consultations, and training sessions designed to help farmers improve production quality, increase efficiency, and adapt to changing agricultural challenges.
